Ngutuni Sanctuary is a 10,000 acre private game sanctuary, surrounded on three sides by Tsavo East National Park. It is only 2.5 hours drive from Mombasa. Animals you may see during your visit to Ngutuni Game Sanctuary include buffalo, cheetahs, elephants, gazelles, giraffes, impalas, leopards, lions, black faced vervet monkeys, Sykes’s monkeys, waterbucks, zebras and a variety of birds.
Night Game Viewing in Ngutuni Game Sanctuary
It is only in Ngutuni Sanctuary, in the whole of Tsavo East National Park, where one can do a night drive and spot game (some of which cant be seen in the day) including many big cats, at very close range.
Best time to go:
Game viewing can be good all year, but is best in the dry season months of July through to March.
